OSU vs. SWTSU

Matchups

Quarterbacks-

OSU -Tony Lindsay performed well in the season opener against Tulsa and has room to improve.  Look for Aso Pogi to get good playing time.

SWTSU - has a QB battle between two sub par division 1-AA QB's in Jason Griffin and Reagan George.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State

Running Backs-

OSU -Reggie White flew out of the gates with 187 yards and a touchdown.

SWTSU -Sophomore Lee Davis has back to back 100 yard games but is battling injuries for the Bobcats.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State

Receivers-

SWTSU- Yyson Olivo and Stephen Ross have performed well early for the Bobcats.

OSU -However, Willie Young had a strong performance against Tulsa in the opener.  Look for Marcellus Rivers to play big as well.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State

Offensive Line-

OSU has many question marks on the line, but performed well against Tulsa who has more talent on their D-Line than SWTSU.

SWTSU- The Bobcats are undersized and overmatched by the Cowboy D-Line, it could get ugly.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State

Defensive Line-

See above.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State

Linebackers-

OSU lost some solid backers from '99 but have great young talent.

SWTSU has possibly their best LB's ever, however they are still SWTSU.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State

Defensive Backs-

OSU -Marcus Jones was exposed against Tulsa, but will get a chance to improve against a Bobcat squad that may be closer to his size.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State

Special Teams-

SWTSU has possibly the best kickers in Southland Conference history.  However, they weren't even recruited by O-State.

Advantage-  Oklahoma State
