The Texas A&M Aggies could be overlooking this weekend's games with the OSU Cowboys. In college football, there is a phenomenon known as "the let down theory". It occurs when a good team has to play an average to below average team the week after it has an emotional victory.

Last week, the Aggies scored an emotional 26-10 victory over then #10 ranked Kansas State. The Aggies defense looked dominating in the performance.

However, next week the Aggies will host the top ranked Oklahoma Sooners in College Station. The largest crown every assembled at Kyle Field is expected for the game. Everyone's already pointing to it as the Big 12 south game of the year.

With a game in Stillwater strategically placed between the Wildcat and Sooner games, the Aggies could be overlooking the woeful 2-5 Cowboys. The Cowboys will have an amazing opportunity to salvage some of their ego with an upset of the 24th ranked Aggies.

So far, redshirt freshman Aso Pogi has been impressive for the Cowboys. He has thrown for 912 yards with an accuracy of almost 56 percent. This Saturday, he'll have his chance to make a mark as an up and coming conference star.
