Sooners Add Much Needed LB to Class December 17, 2001 by Mac Thompson Prep Sports & Recruiting Columnist
With the loss of seniors Rocky Calmus and Don Key award winner Brandon Moore to graduation, the Sooners need help for next year's linebacker ranks. And the Sooners got some help this weekend with the commitment of Pasha Jackson, a 6-3, 230 pound juco linebacker out of San Francisco.
Jackson will be able to enroll in Norman for the spring semester and participate in spring drills. The Sooner coaching staff is hoping to pull of a double trick by also getting a commitment from Jackson's teammate Lance Mitchell, another juco All-American linebacker.
The Sooners also got two more commitments over the weekend. Abner Estrada, a 6-4, 275 pound lineman out of Texas verbally committed as did Josh Roberts, a kicker from Montana.
