It can be taken in many ways for Sooner fans, back-to-back Big 12 Tournament Champions.  Men and Women on back-to-back nights as well as the men in back-to-back seasons, either way Kansas City was turned into Norman of the North this weekend.

Jabahri Brown put together his best overall performance of the season with seven points, eight rebounds, four steals, and four blocked shots while Hollis Price hit clutch shots one after another en route to 23 points.  Down the street in K.C. on Saturday Night Stacey Dales was the one with the clutch shots with 25 points and 11 boards, Price and Dales were Tourney MVP's.

The Sooner Men out-played, out-shot, and out-hustled the top ranked Jayhawks to a 64-55 victory the day after the Sooner Women routed Baylor 84-69.  Both games were between Top 10 teams, the men were first and fourth, the women fourth and seventh.

The Sooner Women get to play a couple of games on their home floor next weekend after receiving the #1 Seed in the West and will play Hartford on Saturday.  With a win they will play the winner of Pepperdine and Villanova on Monday.

The Sooner Men got what is nationally being perceived as a snub by the committee with a #2 Seed in the West, but were rewarded with a trip to Dallas on Friday.  Oklahoma will play Illinois-Chicago on Friday and the winner of Xavier-Hawaii on Sunday.

Times of all tournament games will be released on Monday.
