Pac 10 Biggest Games 1. Oregon State at Oregon. December 1, 2001. Oklahoma/Oklahoma State is Bedlam. Alabama/Auburn is the Iron Bowl. Oregon/Oregon State is the Civil War. This will be the first time ever that the Civil War has national title implications, that's why ABC handed out $600,000 to each team to move it to December 1. 2. Oregon State at Arizona State. October 20, 2001. Oregon State's amazing speed will meet up with Dirk Koetter's wide-open, run&gun offense that will shock its way into the top part of the Pac 10. 3. UCLA at Washington. October 13, 2001. This is the type of game that Bob Toledo must win to keep his job. His team's have been terrible on the road and this one is very winnable. 4. Oregon at UCLA. November 10, 2001. UCLA has the talent and Bob Toledo has the motive to pull off the upset on their home field. These are the games that get Joey Harrington into the national eye as a Heisman Candidate. 5. Arizona at Arizona State. November 23, 2001. Both schools have new coaches that bring in exciting new offenses. This will be one of the most exciting games of the year if it has any meaning at all. Arena Football anyone?

Jeep Seattle Bowl. January 2, 2001. Pac 10 #4 or 5. San Francisco Jeep Bowl. December 30, 2001. Pac 10 #4 or 5. Wells Fargo Sun Bowl. December 31, 2001. Pac 10 #3. Culligan Holiday Bowl. December 28, 2001. Pac 10 #2. BCS Series. Pac 10 Champion. You have to believe that all Pac 10 schools are excited about the possibility of surviving the daunting conference season to be rewarded with going to Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Tempe, and El Paso. It's odd when a school may be excited to get to El Paso, but the fact that it is as far east as a Pac 10 school can go this postseason almost makes it interesting. The only possible way that a school in the Pac 10 could go any further east is by getting two schools into the BCS without one being in the national championship. A tough feat to accomplish two years in a row. Arizona will get an at-large bid to the Humanitarian Bowl, UCLA will make the trip to Seattle, and Stanford will go down the road to San Francisco. Dirk Koetter will take the Sun Devils to the Sun Bowl, while Oregon will once again make its face shown in San Diego. Hey Culligan Man! Finally, the PAC 10 champion Oregon State Beavers will get to make a return trip to Tempe and the Fiesta Bowl, just coming up short of a national title shot.
