            The best of last year meets the champ of this year.

3.  Middle Tennessee State at New Mexico State.  Nov. 3rd, 2001.

            A must win if New Mexico State wants their first ever title.

4.  Arkansas State at New Mexico State.  November 10, 2001.

            Joe Hollis needs a big win like this to secure his seat.

5.  Louisiana Monroe at Louisiana Lafayette.  October 27th, 2001.

     You always have to include the in-state battle for the Sun-Belt cellar. 

 

Going Bowling?

New Orleans Bowl- December 18th at 6 p.m. central time.

  We can all breathe a little easier now knowing that the Sun-Belt Champion will definitely go bowling in 2001.  And to add to the suspense they will play the 3rd best team in the Mountain West Conference.  Yes, a David versus..well, other David matchup to open the bowl season in the first ever New Orleans Bowl!  And for a pick you will surely be following in this coming season, OklahomaSports.com selects Idaho to play in this thriller!
